{About}

I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and as far back as I can remember I have always been a creative person. My original artistic adventure was fine art painting, and as technology progressed throughout the years I was introduced to graphic design where I found a computer can open up endless possibilities.

I graduated from High School early and joined the Air Force where I had the privilege of serving my county for three and a half years in Italy. Even while in the Air Force I was able to make use of my art skills and was commissioned to design a welcome packet for incoming recruits. It was at this time that I also became interested in photography…with the Italian countryside as my backdrop, how could I not!

After finishing my tour in the military, I moved to Southern California and started working as a graphic designer. I felt that more schooling would benefit me, so I enrolled in college and received my degree in Graphic Design. Upon finishing college I became the in-house designer and image editor for a high end portrait studio. Image editing took on a whole new meaning as I not only fixed them but merged multiple images together and created digital effects to further the quality and uniqueness. This challenged me and I found that my fine art background helped me to visualize how these pieces could transform into extraordinary pieces of art.

At this time I started freelancing, working with an incredibly diverse client base of private individuals, small businesses, photographers and corporations. Today, I’ve been happily designing and retouching for over 10 years. I have pre-press and color knowledge, and understand the requirements for various print media applications to produce high quality work.
